Quality Enhancement Tool

Added February 3rd 2010

In January the first meeting of the Quality Enhancement Tool Pilot group took place.  The QET is used as a self-improvement tool by NHS Audiology Departments and we want to find out whether it could work for you – either as a quality improvement tool in its own right, or because reaching a certain standard on it may allow you to become accredited.

Current Department of Health thinking is that accreditation may be used by PCT commissioners as a condition of getting on an approved provider list.  You can download or view a presentation made by our advisor, Paul White, HERE.
