Businesses and the BSHAA Customer Care Scheme

BSHAA operates a Customer Care Scheme which offers clients the assurance that scheme members  will deliver a high level of service.  In the unlikely event of things not working out as the client would have wished, Scheme members promise to work with the client to reach a satisfactory conclusion.  If they fail to agree,  the client can approach the Society direct and take advance of a free concilliation service.

The BSHAA Scheme also forms the complaints resolution process for the Consumer Code for hearing care companies developed by the British Healthcare Trades Association which has now been granted the approval of the Office of Fair Trading.   This gives customers the  assurance of higher standards of consumer protection than required by law.

The Society believes that the user friendly Customer Care scheme will give the company, the Dispenser and the sole trader/practitioner distinction in the market place and demonstrates  an indutry-wide commitment to positive standards of customer care.  Any size of company employing dispensers, and sole trader/practitioners, can benefit immediately from participating in this scheme and there is no registration fee.
