HAC Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Course Providers

BSHAA  undertake the administrative support for CPD on behalf of the Hearing Aid Council. The HAC letter dated 7 July 2006 sets out the administrative arrangements for Course Providers. The HAC Accreditation Form for submission of courses must be completed. Details can be found on their website http://thehearingaidcouncil.org.uk/registrants/cpd/

HAC CPD Assessment Criteria

RHAD's wishing to apply for accreditation of courses on an individual basis are requested to complete the HAC Accreditation Form and supply the requested information but are not required to submit the £30 fee. HAC CPD Accreditation

On Line Learning with Audiology Online

If you do an Audiology Online course and successfully complete the online test then this can count towards your CPD. It will also be counted towards BSHAA CUE points, provided you send in a copy of the printed certificate within 30 days of completing the course to the Secretary at BSHAA. Where distance learning takes place and 0.1 CUE point is awarded this equals 1 HAC structured point and 1 BSHAA CUE.
