Businesses and the Customer Care Scheme
BSHAA operates a Customer Care Scheme which provides consumers with the assurance that scheme members will have a user-friendly, independent complaints resolution service. In the event of things not turning out as the customer would have wished, scheme members promise to work to reach a satisfactory conclusion. If this does not prove possible, the customer can approach the Society direct and take advantage of a free concilliation service.
Through the scheme, BSHAA also provides complaints resolution for the OFT approved Consumer Code run by the British Healthcare Trades Association
which has a number of hearing care businesses in its membership. This Consumer Code is approved by the Office of Fair Trading
and is adhered to by BHTA members throughout the UK. BSHAA has negotiated special BHTA membership rates and you can find out more and join here. The user friendly BSHAA Customer Care Scheme will differentiate your business in a busy market place and contribute towards an industry-wide commitment to positive standards of customer care. Any size of business employing dispensers,as well as sole trader/practitioners, can benefit immediately from participating in this scheme and there is no registration fee.
