The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists has around 1500 members and represents over half of all the Hearing Aid Dispensers who are registered with the Health Care Professions Council. We have members who are student audiologists, hearing care assistants and associates who may not be dispensers but work in the profession in a variety of roles from MD of leading national companies to website developers.
We can offer you a number of opportunities to reach this very targeted audience: our glossy professional journal, published six times a year, our annual conference which has the biggest trade exhibition for the independent hearing care sector in the UK and of course this website
BSHAA People is the Society's glossy professional journal published in February, April, June, August, October and December. It averages 48 pages of which about a quarter is either display or recruitment advertising. The editorial content contains news about the Society and its affairs, news about the industry and its people, and learned articles to provide professional development for the members.
The magazine has a closed circulation and is posted free of charge to all the Society's members in the UK and across the world and to leaders in the hearing care profession. Editorial contributions are welcomed from members, leading academics at home and abroad and there is currently a writing competition to find the best contribution during 2015/16 carrying a prize of £250.
Display advertising is welcomed in Double Page, full page, half page or quarter page format either run of paper or, for a premium, the centre page spread, inside front and outside back pages are available.
Recruitment advertising is linked to the website which means that employers have their vacancy advertised in BSHAA People and in the public Audiology Jobs page of this website.
