BSHAA Council 2020 elections
Elections to BSHAA's Council - the Society's governing body - will take place this autumn/winter.
In addition to two vacant seats on Council, three current Council members - David Foley, Anna Pugh, and Peter Sydserff - come to the end of their term of office and are eligible to stand again.
In the autumn/winter elections, BSHAA will be advertising five vacancies for Council members. Four of these vacancies will be for the usual fixed period of three years. The fifth vacancy will be for two years and will be filled by the person receiving the fifth highest number of votes in the election.
Applicants will need to provide a personal statement (maximum of 200 words) outlining how they match the skills and experience required, and how they will further the profession if elected as a Council member.
Nominations will open in October, with online voting set to take place in December and closing on 30 December.
Details of how to stand – and the full timescales for the elections – will be published here soon.
