ABSTRACT

Effective clinical governance ensures that all knowledge and evidence is harnessed towards assuring the desirable outcome, and adapts the plan of action in response to unexpected changes.  The purpose of this webinar is to offer insights into the clinical governance model for private audiology practices. A solid model will lay the foundations of a resilient business, which is determined by the collective knowledge, understanding, experience and appropriate actions of the governance. This resilience will determine how well you can embrace the new challenges and opportunities faced by the sector.

Good governance is never rigid or dominated by rules. Instead, it should be permissive and empowering so that practitioners have acquired the wisdom, agility and freedom to guide the team/system towards the optimum outcome.
